Overview

Location: Gurgaon and Mumbai locations. Number of openings: 2. Start date: ASAP. End date: June 2026 with possible extension (max 18 months). Schedule: General shift with a hybrid on-site expectation (onsite at least 3 days per week).

Title: Partner Operations Manager

Summary: The Partner Operations Manager is responsible for partner-facing licensing solutions and acts as a subject matter expert in Volume Licensing concepts and processes. This role provides front-line transactional support for Partners, Field sellers, and their customers, ensuring adherence to the Microsoft account plan and timely delivery of high-quality deliverables. The role requires fluency in English to support partners and facilitate communication across transactional and partner service activities.

Responsibilities
  • Contracting and Order Management: Validate and execute agreements and post-sales transactions to ensure accuracy in downstream financial processes; issue partner contracts in compliance with Policies, Global and SOX-approved deal financials.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage critical deal lists monthly and quarterly in alignment with Sales, Sales Excellence, and subsidiary sales stakeholders.
  • Billing Management: Ensure accurate and compliant order and invoice approvals and dispatch to maximize cash flow and collectability.
  • Credit Approval: Coordinate finance exception approvals on high-value credits and execute credits and rebills.
  • Billing status and risk management: Track and communicate contract billing status, highlight risks, ensure Partner PO coverage, and track credit/payment status.
  • Partner Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for operational partner service inquiries; oversee daily operations, monitor metrics, handle escalations, and drive process improvements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to resolve partner issues and ensure a positive customer experience; develop and implement streamlined processes for partner service operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive consistency in processes and services, act as a thought leader, and provide scalable operational solutions across a portfolio of accounts.
Qualifications

Required/Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Finance, or related field, and experience in operations, program management, or process management, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in contracting, order management, pipeline management, and billing execution with focus on financial accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
  • 2+ years in contract validation, pipeline management, credit approval, and billing management; strong capabilities in partner service, stakeholder engagement, process optimization, and operations excellence.
  • 2+ years of data-driven decision-making using KPIs; ability to act as a trusted advisor to internal and external partners.
  • English proficiency in verbal and written communication.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Partner service operations, managing escalations, and implementing process improvements.
  • Experience with Microsoft licensing concepts, including contracts, quotes, and invoices; evaluation and review of complex proposals, agreements, and amendments.
  • Experience providing direct support for Microsoft Volume Licensing sales and support lifecycle.
