    Home for the family. The town Bad Grund (in the Harz mountains) is situated in a beautiful, quiet location, close to an open valley, in the midst of deciduous and coniferous forests, crisscrossed by varied hiking trails.
    You are a family person and love people, preferably have leadership experience in housekeeping, want to make a difference and see it as an enrichment to be a host for people of all ages?

    As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a Housekeeping Manager (m/f/d) for our recreation home at the Bad Grund location of KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA . This exciting position is full-time, permanent and to 1st of January 2024 to fill. You can expect a nice and varied task, in addition, there is the possibility to move into an apartment on site for permanent own use.


    Your tasks - challenge meets responsibility:

    • You will manage - from the basement to the roof - the recreation home as well as coordinate the deployment of external service personnel for cleaning work when rooms are changed.
    • With your organizational skills, commercial expertise and wealth of ideas, you will manage to offer guests a hostel / house and create good memories in the process
    • Your central goals are the complete satisfaction of guests and employees, the sustainable success of the recreation home as well as creative ideas for the content and economically successful further development of the house
    • You will be responsible for guest operations including breakfast preparation, purchasing and garden maintenance, development of new guest groups and organization in all housekeeping areas.
    • In addition to general administrative tasks, you will independently manage occupancy planning as well as proper cash management and accounting.
    • You will cooperate with municipal institutions and tourist organizations and be responsible for the design of attractive offers and programs for the guests


    Your profile - competence meets personality:

    • You preferably have a relevant professional education including commercial competences
    • Professional experience in the hotel industry/tourism/gastronomy (ideally in communal catering) is an advantage
    • You have an open personality with a service mentality and enjoy dealing with people
    • You are an organizational talent, ready for action (also on weekends), flexible and resilient
    • You are quality-conscious and a warm host (m/f/d) with passion.
    • You have a confident handling of common IT applications as well as a very good knowledge of German, knowledge of English would be desirable
