The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Android Engineer to contribute to our life-changing financial services app. In this role, you’ll join our elite team of Android engineers developing features for our large global user base. Enthusiasm and drive for crafting a great user experience are essential. What You'll Do
- Clone the Android app into the India app, support it with feature updates, and maintain it.
- Deliver customer-focused features emphasizing polish, stability, and security.
- Establish, improve, and exemplify best practices for Android engineering.
- Develop and enhance complex features for current and future supported countries.
- Provide guidance when integrating with external partners (tracking, payment/KYC, support, etc.).
- Participate in refactoring the current codebase for better abstraction and modularization.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience as an Android Engineer.
- Proficiency in Kotlin (3-5+ years).
- Experience with MVVM, coroutines, flows (1-3+ years).
- Experience with Jetpack Compose (1+ year).
- Expertise in AI-aided development, including context management and prompt creation, familiarity with technologies like Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude. Use of CoPilot, VSCode, or similar tools, and ability to implement AI-generated work.
