In this role you will be responsible for:
• Enhancement and maintenance of existing security tools (e.g., vulnerability scanners, WAF, IDS/IPS, EDR).
• Monitoring, analysing, and responding to security incidents while documenting vulnerabilities.
• Proactively identifying and mitigating risks through improved dashboards and threat detection.
• Performing independent security assessments to uncover infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Evaluating, selecting, and deploying new cybersecurity technologies and solutions.

This role is remote in Germany.

Essential:
• Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security
• Several years professional experience in defensive security
• Practical experience with SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, IDS/IPS etc.
• Network security knowledge
• Good communication skills
• Minimum C1 German and fluent English

Desirable:
• Experience with offensive security
