Job Types: Fulltime and Parttime
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Schedule: 24/hr Operation – Varies
- Working in a warehousing environment completing general labour duties
- Separate, wrap and prepare products for shipping using order picking machines
- Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- This position involves standing, walking, heavy lifting, and repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Working in confined space and/or cold environments (travelling in/out of refrigerated (~4C)).
- Assist other areas when needed.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a distribution, logistics or warehousing operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
- Proficiency in using order entry systems and inventory management software is an asset.
- Fresh food experience is an asset.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
- Pallet/ Power jack experience is an asset but not required
- Experience with RF Scanner is an asset but not required
- Experience with a Vocollect Headset is an asset but not required
- Must have CSA-approved safety boots
- Must be Health & Safety conscious
