Job summary
A telecom network design firm in Vancouver seeks an experienced Outside Plant (OSP) Designer to lead the design processes of both aerial and underground fibre optic networks. This role demands a strong background in OSP design practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years' experience in the field, a relevant technical degree, and proficiency in planning and construction documentation. Competitive salary range of $73,600 - $101,200 annually, along with comprehensive benefits, is offered.

- 10+ years' experience in telecommunications OSP fibre, copper, or RF plant design.
- Expert knowledge of outside plant design and municipal permitting requirements.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check required.
Responsibilities
- Design networks incorporating constructability issues.
- Conduct site walks for data collection of surface and underground utilities.
- Perform quality control and field checks of construction.
