Job summary
A local electrical service provider is seeking an Electrical Technician for full-time, permanent employment in Brampton, ON. The role involves installing and servicing equipment, reading blueprints, and testing systems. Applicants should have 1–2 years of experience in electrical maintenance and hold a WHMIS certificate. The job entails various working conditions, including outdoors and cold environments. This position offers $36.00 per hour for 32–40 hours per week with shifts required on weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- 1 year to less than 2 years in electrical or electronic maintenance.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate required.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and physically demanding environments.
Responsibilities
- Install equipment and read blueprints to determine work requirements.
- Test power equipment and systems regularly.
- Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports.
