IHM Mechanical is a mechanical company across Western Canada. We specialize in commercial service including Supermarkets, Food Production Facilities, and the design and installation of mechanical systems. IHM Mechanical is currently hiring dedicated Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers. This role involves managing preventative maintenance contracts, as well as modification, repair, and replacement of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will be a Journeyman or Apprentice with experience in a mechanical service environment.

This position requires the ability to follow direct instructions easily, excellent time management skills, and strong communication skills with customers and co-workers. Responsibilities include reviewing work orders to identify problems, determining necessary services, and procuring replacement parts.

All technicians are provided with a service van, uniform, cell phone, tablet, and full training on our systems. Our efficient service management program offers real-time input and access to information for each site.

Candidates will:

• Service commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential clients (95% Commercial/Industrial, 5% Residential)
• Operate equipment, hand tools, power tools, and drain cleaning equipment
• Handle and store plumbing supplies and materials
• Work in accordance with site safety requirements
• Communicate professionally and positively with colleagues, trades, and sub-trades
• Follow written and verbal instructions as required
• Perform duties outside of daily tasks to ensure project completion
• Contribute positively to site and company culture by completing duties with a positive attitude

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Salary : $28.00-$50.00 CAD per hour
