Senior Bridge Engineer — Design, Analysis & Rehab
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Fredericton is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Bridge Engineer to join their Transportation team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 4–8 years of experience in bridge design and evaluation. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, planning layouts, and performing structural design calculations. - 4–8 years of experience in bridge design and evaluation.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in a Canadian province, with intent to register in New Brunswick (Mandatory).
- Experience with OSIM bridge inspections or similar standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in bridge and roadway structure condition assessments.
- Plan and develop schematic/geometric layouts for new structures.
- Perform structural analysis and design calculations in compliance with Canadian design codes.
- Collaborate with drafting teams to prepare construction drawings and details.
