Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Fredericton is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Bridge Engineer to join their Transportation team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 4–8 years of experience in bridge design and evaluation. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, planning layouts, and performing structural design calculations. Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in bridge design and evaluation.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in a Canadian province, with intent to register in New Brunswick (Mandatory).
• Experience with OSIM bridge inspections or similar standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in bridge and roadway structure condition assessments.
• Plan and develop schematic/geometric layouts for new structures.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations in compliance with Canadian design codes.
• Collaborate with drafting teams to prepare construction drawings and details.
