Job summary
A landscaping company in Metro Vancouver is looking for a skilled Lawn Care Technician. Responsibilities include assessing and maintaining the health of lawns, applying treatments, and managing plant growth. Applicants should have a high school diploma and some relevant experience. The job is physically demanding and requires teamwork and organization. A full-time, permanent position with the potential to work 32 to 40 hours per week is available.
Qualifications
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Write specifications for landscaping.
- Survey and assess designated sites.
- Apply lawn care products accordingly.
- Prune and repair damaged areas.
- Assess the health of lawns and diagnose tree/shrub problems.
- Plan and co-ordinate plant growth for ornamental uses.
- Plant and maintain lawns and gardens.
- Plant and move trees.
