Lead Cook - Remote Lodge Kitchen Supervisor
Job summary
A food service provider is hiring a Lead 1st Cook for a remote lodge near Timmins, Ontario. This position is responsible for cooking and preparing food while following food safety procedures and supervising kitchen staff. Candidates should have experience as a cook, knowledge of food preparation principles, and a food safety certification. Benefits include comprehensive packages and transport from Timmins or Cochrane. All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test and a criminal background check.

- Experience as a cook or related role required.
- Previous supervisor experience in a related role preferred.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision required.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Schedules and assigns daily work activities to staff.
- Cooks and prepares food following production guidelines.
- Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers.
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
