You will lead a team of superintendents for a complex project, ensuring adherence to company standards for safety, scheduling, budget, quality control, and client satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee staff to ensure the successful delivery of a complex commercial construction project to completion.
- Ensure field staff are equipped with resources to complete projects according to plans, specifications, and codes, while strictly following safety regulations.
- Participate in pre-bid and preconstruction processes regarding site layout, logistics, scheduling, and workforce planning.
- Collaborate with safety personnel to ensure adherence to safety programs and policies.
- Follow Ledcor’s Construction Operations Manual and develop the Project Quality Program (PQP), ensuring PEP conformance.
- Review and maintain schedules, meet milestones, identify delays, and lead solutions.
- Promote site safety, including subcontractor compliance and safety plans.
- Oversee equipment care and maintenance, maximizing use and proper return.
- Participate in hiring, manage hourly employees, and handle job costing documentation.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to meet needs and foster future opportunities.

Qualifications
- Over 8 years of construction experience as a Superintendent or similar role, with proven leadership skills.
- Experience with high-rise residential, healthcare, data centers, aircraft hangars, and complex projects.
- Relevant trade certifications or education combined with industry experience.
- Deep knowledge of safety standards, OH&S, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with ability to work with senior management.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction practices, documentation, scheduling, and industry technologies.
- Proven coaching and team development skills.
- Ability to anticipate problems and develop innovative solutions.
Working Conditions
- Site-based position in Vancouver, BC.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Compensation
$122,400 - $168,300 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
