• Current enrollment in an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program at an accredited post-secondary institution
• You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term
• Attach your most recent transcripts with your application
• For some roles, you may need to possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

• This is a/an 4, 8, 12, or 16-month term commitment beginning in January and May 2026. You will be asked to indicate your availability in your application
• Potential locations for these student roles include Calgary, St. John’s, and Fort McMurray (Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo). You will be asked to indicate your location preferences in your application
• Students working in Edmonton will be located at the Suncor Edmonton Refinery. Please note, public transportation is not readily available to the refinery; the successful candidates will need to have their own means of transportation.
• Students who live and work in Fort McMurray are eligible for a cash allowance to address the cost of living and the remote nature of the region. To learn more about living and working in Fort McMurray click here
