Job summary
A leading retail company in Eastern Ontario is seeking a Team Lead to assist in managing inventory and addressing customer needs. This role requires strong leadership and customer service skills, plus experience with inventory operations. Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Able to consistently walk and stand, lift 25-50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills including creating documents and sending emails.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, pricing, and stocking merchandise.
- Serve as leader on duty, addressing concerns in Store Manager's absence.
- Open and close the store, ensuring safety and security.
Skills
Education
The Team Lead Canada works closely with the Department Manager(s) or Store Manager to receive, price, and stock merchandise to meet the needs of the store's customers, and drive sales and profits. Assist Team Members with completing the work within the store. Acts as leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, as well as opening and closing the store and ensuring all bookstore property and team members are safe and secure.

- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours
