The day of a Seasonal Cashier involves quickly, efficiently and accurately processing customer orders, answering questions, and maintaining a neat and welcoming cashwrap. Whether helping customers pick holiday gifts or find the perfect coffee maker, our Seasonal Cashiers bring the in-store experience to life, delivering an unmatched customer experience through our diverse and innovative team.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Cashier includes :

• Driving sales by processing customer orders quickly, efficiently and accurately through the POS system
• Greeting customers, responding to questions, processing payments, and involving management as needed in a calm, professional manner
• Communicating applicable promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and initiatives to customers
• Demonstrating excellent customer service
• Wrapping and / or bagging orders with care
• Leading by example and supporting store management in maintaining store profitability and operational excellence
• Ensuring products and displays are stocked and available for customers
• Supporting store safety standards and training
• Maintaining awareness of loss prevention, security, and safety guidelines
• Executing and maintaining visual merchandising standards to engage customers and associates

What you\'ll bring to the table includes :

• Customer service or retail experience (preferred)
• Good reading, written and verbal skills in English
• Good communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; heavier items with team assistance
• Availability to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and surrounding days for Christmas
• Part-time roles require availability for two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night
