- Proficient in bookkeeping systems and financial reporting.
- Experience in preparing tax returns and reconciling accounts.
Responsibilities
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
- Maintain financial records using bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and reports.
Education
- College / CEGEP
- 3 years to less than 5 years
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
- Record and balance daily transactions
- Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements
