We are seeking to hire a Plant Operator - RMW at our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Abbotsford. This role involves unloading trailers daily with a partner, weighing and sorting waste as needed, and managing incoming trucks and leftover waste from previous days. The position requires high stamina due to extensive walking, though little lifting is involved. Reliability and daily attendance are crucial, as this role is vital to our operations.

1. Maintaining boiler and autoclave functions to ensure optimal efficiency.
2. Processing and storing waste in compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Handling waste streams including cytotoxic, pharmaceutical, anatomical, and RMW.
4. Managing supplies of clean reusable bins and totes for logistics.
5. Addressing housekeeping issues promptly, such as spills and debris cleanup.
6. Performing additional duties and assisting in other plant operations as directed by the Operations Supervisor.

1. Forklift certification is required.
