A K-12 educational organization in British Columbia is seeking part-time Education Assistants to support home learners. Successful applicants will provide targeted interventions, adapt learning activities, and contribute to students' social and academic needs. The role requires a commitment to inclusive education, emotional intelligence, and proficiency in technology. Competitive hourly wage of $23.97 – $28.13 depending on experience.
Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS) is a thriving K-12 learning community offering home, in-class and online education to students across British Columbia. With flexible programs and personalized learning, HCOS partners with families to support every child’s unique learning journey.
At HCOS, our Education Assistants (EAs) are independent contractors who are resourceful and innovative educators, providing student support to Home Learners within the Inclusive Education Department.
We are seeking dynamic Education Assistants to work with students in the family home and/or in our one-day-a-week Community Connections classes. This is a part-time contract position that may grow to full-time hours over the course of the school year, depending on student needs and EA skillsets.
