Overview

St. Malachy Catholic School, located on the west side of Indianapolis in the growing town of Brownsburg, is a preschool through 8th grade Catholic school with an enrollment of 515 students with two classrooms for each grade level. St. Malachy is seeking a faith-filled 5th grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The teacher in this position will be responsible for planning and implementing daily lessons for 5th grade students. The ideal teacher candidate has both a strong knowledge of the Indiana standards at the 5th grade level as well as current best practices to meet diverse student needs.

They are able to design and facilitate engaging lessons, utilize formative assessment to guide instruction and provide ongoing student support, and create a positive classroom environment with Christ at the center.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lessons for 5th grade students.
• Design and facilitate engaging lessons aligned with Indiana standards for 5th grade.
• Utilize formative assessment to guide instruction and provide ongoing student support.
