The University of Wisconsin Clinical Trials Institute (UW CTI) is a partnership between the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) and UW Health. It supports clinical research professionals, investigators, and participants to advance discovery and research in the prevention, detection, and treatment of disease to help improve the health of individuals, families, and communities across Wisconsin and beyond. The Clinical Research Coordinator Supervisor will supervise the UW CTI clinical research coordinators. Responsibilities include recruiting and hiring new staff, leading onboarding processes, managing staff performance, and allocating work for clinical trials. The role involves providing operational support and maintaining trial coverage, with flexibility to address urgent issues outside of normal hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong time management, communication skills, and knowledge of industry regulations are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required: Minimum 3 years of clinical trial coordination experience, SOCRA certification or equivalent, valid driver’s license.
Preferred: Supervisory experience, managing complex trials, familiarity with CROs, Study Sponsors, OnCore, eBinders, Epic, and IRB applications.
This is a full-time, ongoing/renewable position with a starting salary of $66,000 annually, negotiable based on experience. Some work may be performed remotely, but in-person presence at designated campus locations may be required.
