Job Description
As a Golf Course Captain Server with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you will be working with both our banquet and outlet operations, providing exposure to all facets of the Food & Beverage operation.
Starting Rate of Pay: $19.96/hour

Your Job Duties Include:

1. Help lead the F&B Outlet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed.
2. Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
3. Take an active role with the training and development of new and existing colleagues.
4. Build and maintain a high level of customer service and staff morale through outlet promotions and staff incentive programs.
5. Ensure that the outlet is operating within the confines of the ALCB regulations.
6. Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
7. Prepare and serve cocktails and other beverages.
8. Bus and re-set tables.
9. Perform opening, cleaning, and closing duties.
10. Respect golf etiquette and rules while on the course.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:

1. Minimum 1 year serving experience required (must include at least 6 months a la carte service).
2. Previous leadership experience required.
3. Valid Alberta driver’s license required.
4. Excellent knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer required.
5. Pro Serve certification required.
6. Banquets experience preferred.
7. Micros POS experience an asset.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
