The Live Content Creator role with the Canadian Football League (CFL) offers an exciting opportunity to capture and create dynamic content for one of Canada's most popular sports leagues. Here’s a breakdown of what the role entails:

As a Live Content Creator, you will be responsible for capturing organic video and photo content during CFL games. Your role will primarily involve working on-site at games, engaging in creative storytelling, and using visual media to highlight the excitement and spectacle of the CFL.

This position allows you to engage in creative freedom and produce content that showcases the excitement of live sports in an innovative and visually appealing way. As a content creator for the CFL, you'll be on the cutting edge of sports media and have the opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to the league's digital presence.

1. Game Coverage: Attend nine home games within your designated market to capture content before, during, and after the game, ensuring to cover both home and away teams. Content will be sent to game night administrators for storytelling and publication on our channels.
2. Content Creation: Generate dynamic and creative video and photo content that aligns with the CFL’s vision for social media storytelling. This includes content for pregame, in-game, and post-game moments, capturing the overall CFL experience.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with the Social Media team based in Toronto, aligning your content with ongoing storylines and marketing or partnership requests.
4. Creative Direction: Push the boundaries of sports content creation by generating innovative ideas and capturing unique moments that bring the energy of the CFL to life.

1. Professional Experience: At least 1 year of experience in capturing live sports content, preferably with football or other sports.
2. Social Media Expertise: Ability to tailor content for various platforms for maximum engagement.
3. Visual Storytelling: Skill in creating compelling stories through videos and photos that resonate with fans.
4. Football Knowledge: Understanding of football, especially CFL, to capture the game’s energy effectively.
5. Interviewing Skills: Experience interviewing athletes is a plus, but not required.
6. Passion for Sports: Genuine love for sports and eagerness to grow the CFL’s digital presence.

• Work Schedule & Environment: Availability during nights and weekends during the CFL season.
• Travel: Travel to stadiums in your market is required, with potential for playoff games.
