Job Description
Reporting directly to the CEO, the position of General Counsel at Tenet is ideal for a lawyer with strong technical skills, business instincts, a hands-on approach to problem solving, and the ability to work independently or with cross-functional teams including external counsel. The ideal candidate will have no less than 5 years of top-quality experience across assignments such as mergers & acquisitions, financing, securities matters, corporate governance, and corporate reorganizations. The candidate will negotiate and prepare agreements and other legal documentation, provide advice on legal risk and the impact of business decisions, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and the company’s continuous disclosure obligations in Canada.
