What youu2019ll be doing:u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 u00A0 Our RNs provide medical care to children, youth, adults and seniors in their homes and other settings in communities across Nova Scotia.u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0

• Diabetes management
• Dialysis
• IV medications
• IV/CVAD care
• Palliative care
• Phlebotomy
• Wound care; incl. negative pressure wound therapy and complex wounds

What we need from you: u00A0u00A0u00A0

• Must be Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
• Experience in community health an asset
• A valid driveru2019s license and access to a reliable vehicle is required
• A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required and a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check may be required
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Working conditions and physical demands: This role requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics.
