Position Summary

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care to join our team.

Under the direction of the Team Leader, ACT, the nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The team provides flexible, community-based ACT services designed to promote stability, recovery, and community integration. The nurse maintains a primary caseload of 8 to 10 clients and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver ACT services for all clients.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, Evenings - 11:00 to 19:00

Qualifications

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN
• Two (2) years of related experience in the mental health field within the last five years, or an equivalent experience

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to teach individuals, groups, or family members
• Computer skills
• Good interpersonal and counseling skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently and in a team
• Effective oral and written communication
• Class V Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Travel is required
