Job summary

The Royal Mental Health Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Youth Program to provide skilled, evidence-based nursing care to youth with early onset mental illness. In this role, you will conduct assessments, administer interventions, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have psychiatric nursing experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to ongoing education in mental health care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years psychiatric/mental health nursing experience preferred.
• Ongoing recent educational activities required.
• Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-oriented, evidence-based nursing care to youth.
• Complete mental status assessments and nursing interventions.
• Ensure continuity of client care by communicating with families and providers.
