A leading insurance company is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster specializing in marine claims in Calgary. The role involves managing complex claims, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of marine claims experience and strong analytical skills. This position offers a chance to be part of a collaborative environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of commercial property/casualty claims experience.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of Marine claim experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manages moderate to high complexity of marine claims.
  • Interprets policy terms and determines coverage.
  • Utilises negotiation skills for settlement packages.
  • Coordinates investigations and evaluates claims.

Technical and business management acumen

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of industry trends

Education

CIP or working towards completion
