Job summary

A global engineering firm seeks a Technologist Specialist for their team in Canada. Qualifications

  • Canadian citizenship with 10+ years residency in Canada required for security clearance.
  • Previous experience with Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army, Air Force or Coast Guard.
  • Knowledge of classification societies and DND regulations is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise for designated systems and equipment.
  • Assess and report systems’ material state throughout operational cycles.
  • Develop and maintain process planning for NETE's MSV Program.

Skills

Proficient with maintenance procedures and documentation
Well-developed technical writing and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Strong working knowledge in marine systems

Education

Recognized technologist certification
Military technical training (RQ-PO1, QL-6 or QL-7)

Tools

Microsoft Office applications
DRMIS/SAP
