Job summary
A technology solutions company in Vancouver is seeking a QA Tester to execute manual testing for Web and Mobile apps. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in QA, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Responsibilities include performing functional testing, documenting issues, and collaborating with teams to enhance product quality.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of QA experience, preferably with hands-on testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and testing environments.
- Exposure to Web and Mobile app testing.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual test plans for Web and Mobile applications.
- Perform exploratory and functional testing to identify defects.
- Document and communicate bugs and issues using test management tools.

- Perform thorough exploratory and functional testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
- Document, track, and communicate bugs and issues clearly using test management tools.
- Work with automation and QA teams to identify test cases suitable for automation.
- Utilize AI-powered QA tools or modern testing solutions to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to Agile development processes, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Continuously learn and adopt best practices, tools, and techniques in QA and software testing.
- 2–4 years of QA experience (hands-on testing preferred).
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Agile QA methodologies.
- Exposure to Web and Mobile app testing (iOS and Android).
- Basic knowledge of automation testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with API testing and test management/bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Linear).
