Job summary
A regional trucking company in Surrey is seeking a dedicated truck driver. Responsibilities include driving long-haul routes, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring vehicle safety. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school diploma and a Class 1 or A driver's license. Training is provided for new drivers, with a commitment to safety and teamwork. This is a permanent position with a workload of 50 hours per week.
Qualifications

- Must be able to perform vehicle inspections and minor repairs.

- Drive and transport goods as required.
- Load and unload vehicles safely.
- Inspect vehicle conditions and maintain safety standards.

- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
