A local children's support organization in Thunder Bay seeks a Prime Worker to provide assistance to children, youth, and families. This casual, part-time role offers flexible hours, requiring strong professional judgment, communication skills, and a Valid Ontario Driver's License. Casual Employment Opportunity
This position is intended to augment and/or support the services provided by the Case Managers to children, youth and families, on a casual contract basis. Prime Worker names are on a list accessed based on best fit and availability for the support needs. A written work plan is completed outlining the duties and expectations specific to the assignment. Each child/youth/family case requires its own work plan. This position is casual, part-time with no guaranteed hours. Prime Workers may accept up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. It is the Prime Worker’s responsibility to track hours worked, as they could be working with several different children/youth and/or families at the same time.
