A healthcare service provider seeks an experienced Associate General Counsel for a remote position to provide legal advice and guidance to client facilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in healthcare law, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage regulatory issues. Compensation ranges from $175k to $205k, with potential bonuses and benefits.
Ensign Services, Inc. (ESI) seeks an experienced Associate General Counsel to serve the needs of our rapidly expanding client base across the United States. This position will be remote and serve certain of the geographies where ESI’s clients have operations.
ESI serves over 361 post-acute care operations across 17 states, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other ancillary service providers. These operations have no corporate headquarters or traditional management hierarchy. Instead, they operate independently with support from the “Service Center,” a world-class service team that provides centralized legal, human resource, training, accounting, information technology and other resources necessary to allow on-site leaders and caregivers to focus on day-to-day care and business issues
in their operations.
The Associate General Counsel position provides legal advice and guidance to our client facilities in the areas of risk management, survey management, regulatory interpretation and application, representation before State Departments of Health and Federal agencies, and other related areas. The position will regularly educate field personnel in these areas of specialization. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The role will be in Arizona, with in-state travel expected up to 40% of the time.
