Job summary
A global logistics company is seeking a Customs Operations Specialist to ensure timely shipment releases and compliance with customs regulations. This role includes managing relationships with Customs authorities, quality control of client files, and developing best practices. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of customs experience and knowledge of customs requirements. The position allows for remote work from Ontario, Canada.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience in the customs segment is required.
- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in direct customer relationships is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Ensure shipments are released in a timely & accurate manner.
- Support relationships with Customs authorities.
- Manage key accounts and improve processes for client efficiencies.
