What will you do in this job?
The Food and Beverage Supervisor under general direction trains, schedules and directs frontline staff to perform their duties to Guest Experience standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Preparation and verification of daily cash reports
2. Ensuring accurate cash, debit and credit card transactions
3. Training staff and ensuring everyone feels confident in their role
4. Supervising and supporting on the floor
5. Coordinating Food and Beverage orders and inventory
6. Updating staff's schedule and changes
7. Interacting with customers and maintaining the highest level of customer service
8. Involved in the making of and receiving food/drink orders
9. Receiving payment for all services provided to the customer
10. Listening and responding to customer complaints
11. Ensuring the work area is clean and organized at all times
12. Relieving Servers as required
13. Upholding the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
14. Other duties as assigned

What skills and experience do you need for this job?
Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment. Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated; Natural ability to lead a team. Detail oriented with good communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Some accounting experience an asset and experience with Word and Excel. POS system experience is an asset. Cash handling experience. High volume experience. Handle stress in a professional manner. Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment. Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time. Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards. To honour our commitment to be 'Always Honest' all employees must consent to a criminal record check. Previous Barista experience an asset.
