We are seeking a Senior Business Consultant for a 2-year contract opportunity in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Work Arrangement :

• Primarily remote
• Occasional in-office meetings in Edmonton (with advance notice provided)

Must Have

Work Experience

• Duration – Demonstrated experience in developing integrated plans, portfolio and project reporting, and communicating progress to senior executives. 5 years
• Duration – Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. 5 years
• Duration – Experience in the design, development, and implementation of a digital transformation initiative or digital delivery program. 5 years
• Duration – Experience with business writing, communication, and documentation. 5 years

Nice to Have

Professional Licenses / Certification

Active certification in CAPM, PMP, or PgMP as issued by the Project Management Institute, or equivalent, and / or an active CMC designation as issued by a member institute of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes, or equivalent.

Work Experience

• Duration – Demonstrated experience in executive stakeholder relationship management and engagement (i.e., determining the needs of senior stakeholders and understanding business priorities and pressures). 5 years
• Duration – Demonstrated experience working in the health industry and knowledge of business practices, information, data, and technology requirements. 2 years
• Duration – Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the contents and application of the Alberta Health Information Act, including but not limited to supporting the development of related artifacts such as Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), Security Threat Risk Assessment (STRA), Business Impact Assessment (BIA). 2 years
• Duration – Experience in facilitating meetings and communicating with senior management and project stakeholders. 5 years
• Duration – Experience in managing projects in an organization of comparable size and complexity to the GoA. 5 years
