We're seeking an Electrician to join our client's Manufacturing team in Long Sault, Ontario. What We Offer :

• Salary: $36.07 starting to $38.19 based on experience
• Job Type / Shift: Rotational – 7:00 am – 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday
• Benefits: Extensive benefit program

What You'll Do :

1. Perform all actions related to the preventive maintenance program of the company
2. Ensure maintenance of equipment and repairs when required
3. Help solve problems related to maintenance
4. Suggest continuous improvement projects
5. Participate in equipment installation and assist during start-ups
6. Test equipment to ensure productivity and performance
7. Respect safety standards of the company and maintain a clean work environment
8. Follow safety rules and procedures such as Lockout / Tag out, Hot work, Confined Space, PPE, ensuring compliance by oneself and others around machinery
9. Provide support to operations to run machines at standard speeds, maximizing efficiency and productivity
10. Respond quickly to address downtime issues effectively
11. Lead or participate in root cause analysis for operating problems, identifying causes of unplanned downtime to drive continuous improvement
12. Maintain spares to ensure equipment availability
13. Utilize and maintain the SAP Plant Maintenance Module, following all processes for work order completion and documentation

What We're Looking For :

1. Licensed Electrician (Red Seal)
2. 2+ years of hands-on electrician experience in an industrial setting
3. Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of equipment based on industrial process controls, including measuring devices, data transmission, storage devices, and drives
4. Familiarity with mechanical drawings, fluid power schematics, and operation sequences
5. Strong knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation, and control systems
6. Ability to understand and follow safety, electrical codes, and operational guidelines
7. Certification on scissor lifts and forklifts is required
8. Positive attitude and effective communication skills
9. Resourcefulness and initiative
10. Ability to work shifts, organize priorities, and manage time effectively
11. Experience in plastic manufacturing is an asset
12. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending, squatting, and kneeling
