A Canadian wood products company located in Toronto is seeking a full-time accountant. Responsibilities include payroll processing, maintaining financial records, and preparing tax returns. Candidates must have a college diploma and between 7 months to 1 year of relevant experience. This is a permanent position with no remote work options.

- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
