Job summary
A community care provider in Ontario is seeking a Personal/Home Support Worker to provide essential personal and homemaking services to clients, particularly seniors. This part-time position involves collaborating with health care teams to enhance client independence and wellbeing. Ideal candidates have relevant certifications, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in diverse environments. Flexible hours and the availability of a personal vehicle are required for this role.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and relevant certifications are required.
- Experience working with elderly or ill individuals is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal support and homemaking services to clients.
- Observes and evaluates client's personal support needs.
- Reports changes in client’s care needs to the supervisor.
