Reporting to the Provincial Manager - Intake Mental Health and Addictions Program, the Patient Access Navigator facilitates intake for MHA services via a centralized provincial telephone service. Responsibilities include screening, risk assessment, clinical triage, supportive counselling, psychoeducation, and resource sharing. The role involves building relationships, problem-solving, and supporting clients in navigating the healthcare system, reducing barriers to treatment, and liaising with community resources to ensure optimal care.
