A community healthcare provider in Ottawa seeks a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide end-of-life palliative care. Responsibilities include coordinating care, supervising a care team, and offering emotional support to residents and families. Candidates should be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess communication and leadership skills, as well as a dedication to the organization's mission.
As part of our Residence Care Team you will be working as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, volunteers and staff providing care to our residents according to their care plan, providing support and assistance to the resident and their families and/or caregivers and contributing to provide a home-like, peaceful environment.
Staff may be required to transfer to an alternate site. The rate of pay is your current Hospice Care Ottawa RPN rate based on the wage schedule in the collective agreement.

We are looking for RPN’s who possess the following:
Plans, coordinates, delivers and supports a team to provide day to day end-of-life palliative care for the residents in the Hospice and their families and/or significant others.
