A local educational institution in Nova Scotia is inviting applications for a Casual Custodian position. This role offers no guaranteed hours and requires candidates to have a high school diploma. Responsibilities include performing custodial duties and completing training programs. Candidates must also have a valid driver's license and knowledge of cleaning methods. Pay is $24.68/hr under the collective agreement.

The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education invites applications from new applicants for TEMPORARY CUSTODIANS for the Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education encompassing Colchester, East Hants, Pictou, and Cumberland Counties (Cobequid, Celtic, Nova and Chignecto Families of Schools). Placement in temporary positions could lead to permanent employment.
As this position is casual in nature, there are no guaranteed hours of work.
Rate of Pay: $24.68/hr. as per the CCRCE/CUPE Collective Agreement

All employees require a criminal record check of the vulnerable sector. The CCRCE requires an original check dated within six (6) months from your date of hire. The criminal record check of the vulnerable sector along with the child abuse register check will be reviewed in accordance with the CCRCE policies and procedures.
Prospective candidates will be required to successfully complete the Custodial Training Program conducted by Property Services Staff before commencing employment in any custodial position.
