Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is looking for a Sr Front End Developer to join an enterprise retail company, hybrid out of Vancouver or Seattle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Responsibilities include development, performance troubleshooting, and mentoring junior staff. This position offers an opportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Angular / Angular JS.
- 5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
- 2+ years of experience in Bootstrap.
- A solid understanding of AJAX and JavaScript.
- 5+ years of experience with RESTful services.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (basic experience ex. Cypress).
- Familiar with Agile practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform application development activities, including unit testing and code deployment.
- Work independently to support software throughout the SDLC.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues.
- Participate in estimation processes and review project planning.
- Introduce tools to automate repetitive tasks.
- Guide and mentor junior developers.
