We are currently hiring for the position of:
DIGITAL COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Senior Designer with a dotted line to the Digital Content Administrator, the Digital Coordinator will support the development and implementation of various content delivery and website updates, and support the year-round and Festival programming.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall include but not be limited to:
Executing digital content updates for Tiff.net in our Content Management System
Assisting in all required content updates, page builds, image crops and other digital content maintenance
Ensuring online production aligns with and supports TIFF’s digital strategy and brand toolkit
Ensuring online environments meet AODA and SEO requirements through regular audits and undergoing routine “digital hygiene” tasks
Managing the execution of the Google Ad Space production, with the support of the Digital Content Administrator
JOB GRADE & SALARY:
Job Grade 1
$25.00 CAD Hourly
TARGET CONTRACT DATES:
Target start date: May 26
Target end date: Sept 15
WORK LOCATION:
Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
Weekly in-office requirements:
Minimum 2 days (November to April)
Minimum 3 days (May to October)
Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A post-secondary degree/certificate in digital media, marketing, or web design/development
Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience
Basic understanding of SEO and AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliance
Experience with image editing with Adobe Photoshop
Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, particularly Google Ad Space
Experience working with HTML/CSS strongly preferred
Experience working with Contentful preferred
Proficient in Google Suite, MS Office, and Trello
Previous experience working in an arts & culture and/or film environment is considered an asset
Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external (programming, internal departments, external partners)
Excellent written, oral and visual design skills required to communicate digital strategies
Project management skills, including attention to detail
Ability to take on new projects and adapt to evolving departmental initiatives
Proficient knowledge of website best practices as they relate to page layout, SEO, search, keywords, and creative imagery
Adaptable to a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends during the Festival period and lead up.
