Crushing Plant Operator – Production & Maintenance
Job summary
A leading construction company in Prince Rupert, BC, seeks a Crusher Operator to ensure the efficient operation of the Crushing Plant. This role requires a valid driver's license and at least 2 years of experience in crusher operation and maintenance. The anticipated wage range is $30-$45 per hour. Candidates must be able to meet safety requirements, including drug testing. This is a unionized position that offers opportunities for career advancement and a competitive benefits package.

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Crushing Plant Operator required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience doing maintenance and repair of crushing equipment required.
- Valid class 5 driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Crushing Plant.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment and electrical components.
- Communicate with workers on operational efficiency and technical issues.
- Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure product quality.
- Perform daily walk around inspections of the plant site.
- Keep track of production numbers and statistics.
- Perform and oversee maintenance of Crusher.
