A local municipality in Ontario is seeking Camp Counsellors to oversee and implement engaging programs for children aged 2.5-16. This role includes ensuring safety, planning diverse activities, and maintaining communication with parents and staff. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, possess First Aid and CPR certification, and pass a Criminal Reference check. The position offers a competitive salary and requires participation during summer weeks from June 29 to August 28, 2026.
Reporting to the Program Supervisor – Camps/Playgrounds, Program Director – Camps/Playgrounds, and Community Recreation Coordinator, Camp Counsellors are accountable for planning and implementing a safe, enjoyable and diverse program for camp participants aged 2.5-16 years.
*Contracts may be extended to end on September 4, 2026 for Camp Finale.
