Employment Type: Full‑time, Contract (12‑month contract with possibility of extension)

Salary: $85.00 to $95.00 per hour

nnovativ provides technology staffing and Digital Transformation Services for private and public sector organizations. We are currently seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer who will support a client project focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, security, integration, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge and understanding of the application and technology architecture definition and integration needs related to shared infrastructure and middleware
• Experience and knowledge in providing logical and physical level technology analysis at both the architectural and functional design levels
• Experience in n-tier and structured methodologies and service-oriented architecture for the architectural design, development, implementation, and maintenance of applications
• Knowledge of enterprise security standards and hands‑on experience in securing compute environments
• Experience administering Unix based environments
• Hands‑on experience with DevSecOps and profiling tools
• Hands‑on experience with API Gateway, API routing, API security and integrations
• Knowledge of centralized logging and auditing
• Experience with virtualization technologies and application development frameworks

• Minimum 10 years of experience in WebLogic V12, WebSphere V9, Informatica V10 configuration, customization, upgrading
• Knowledge and expertise in administrating and developing Oracle Siebel, UCM, OID, BIP, OCH, OEDQ and CRM technologies
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps toolsets in Azure Cloud, including but not limited to Docker, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Azure DevOps Pipelines, OpenShift
• Working knowledge and experience in git, including branching and merging strategies (e.g. git‑flow), collaborating via pull request and practicing GitOps
• Working knowledge and experience of designing and implementing infrastructure as code build automation using Terraform and immutable infrastructure with Ansible and Packer
• Minimum 10 years of experience in systems, data communications and telecommunication technology including experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux V7+, UNIX Solaris V10 and Mainframe IMS Connect, system software and system tools
• Working knowledge and experience of implementing instances/applications performance tuning, storage/capacity management, DB migration/upgrade, backup/Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies
• Working knowledge and experience of clustering Load Balancers, and Firewall configuration and accomplishing the same in Azure cloud
• Experience with technologies (J2EE, Java) and web technologies (Node.js, Azure Functions, Serverless, Pub/Sub event driven systems, Azure App Gateway)
• Experience with Informatics Power Centre tools, Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow
• Experience on application monitoring and support
• Highly skilled analysis and problem‑solving skills
• Experience in supporting enterprise business and infrastructure projects
• Experience in Incident Management, Change Management
• Ability to perform performance analysis
• Experience in resource usage tracking, analysis
• Ability to perform log searches for problem solving, audit and performance checking
• Experience in emergency problem resolution
• Ability to provide ad‑hoc reporting

• Hourly Rate: $85.00 to $95.00
• Contract: 12 months (possibility of extension)
