Job Title: GenAI Solution Lead

Location: Calgary, AB (3x onsite a week)

Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Solution Lead + Hands on 10 12 Years conceptual architecture to implementation ensuring performance, scalability, reusability, and alignment with best practices across the Azure ecosystem.
• Architect and design scalable, secure, and high performance cloud native applications using Azure services (App Services, Functions, AKS, API Management, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, Service Bus, etc.).
• Develop and implement cloud solution blueprints and reusable reference architectures for enterprise wide adoption for GenAI / Agentic use cases in Azure ecosystem.
• Drive end to end CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep).
• Design and optimize microservices, serverless, and event driven architectures ensuring resilience and scalability.
• Design and deploy Generative AI and Agentic applications using Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure ML, and vector database integrations.
• Evaluate emerging Azure services and AI frameworks to recommend best fit architectures for business needs.
• Establish cloud governance, cost optimization, and observability practices using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Lead engineering teams on cloud architecture patterns, DevOps, and AI integration best practices.
• Proven experience designing scalable, distributed, and fault tolerant systems on Azure for GenAI and Agentic work.
• Strong hands on expertise with Azure PaaS services, Azure Functions, Kubernetes (AKS), Event driven architectures, and API Management.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, GitHub Actions).
• Experience designing and deploying Generative AI or Agentic solutions, leveraging Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Search, Azure AI Studio, or LangChain like frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of security, identity, and compliance in Azure (Managed Identities, Key Vault, Private Endpoints).
• Proficiency with Python, Node.js in cloud native solution development.
• Experience with multi region deployments, serverless scaling, and high throughput data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of networking, monitoring, and scaling strategies across hybrid and multi tenant setups.
• Excellent communication, solution documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
