A leading service provider is seeking a Housekeeper for its Horizon North camp facility in Canada. This role offers a unique 20 days on and 10 days off rotation, ensuring excellent work-life balance. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, maintaining cleanliness, and team collaboration. Candidates should have experience in janitorial work and be fluent in English. This position includes full health benefits and paid travel time.

- Minimum 6 months janitorial and/or housekeeping experience.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
Responsabilidades
- Clean 30 rooms per day and full housekeeping services.
- Make beds and change linens weekly or as needed.
- Vacuum and dust room furniture and hallways.
- Wash, scrub, and sanitize bathroom fixtures.

WHATS THE JOB
Based in a world class Horizon North camp facility the regular shift for this position is 20 days on and 10 days off with 10-hour workdays. Transportation is provided to site from a pickup point in Edmonton.
As a Housekeeper reporting to the Head Housekeeper you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level.
This position is safety sensitive and requires drugalcohol and fit to work testing as a condition of employment.
Your work will include :
- Conducting walk-downs - cleaning 30 rooms per day and may vary depending on client occupancy.
- Full housekeeping services in guest rooms and hallways.
- Making the beds and changing linen weekly; or as needed.
- Vacuuming and dusting all room furniture blinds including hallways.
- Washing scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom windows and mirrors.
- Emptying garbage from all sleeping areas including trash and recycling collection.
- Washing and folding towels linens and beddings.
- Loading and unloading laundry and linen truck as well as supplies.
- Maintaining an accurate record of all bedding allotted in lodge assist with the inventory and report any shortages to the Lodge Manager.
