Construction Painting Lead – On-Site Supervisor
Job summary
A government organization in Alberta is seeking a qualified supervisor to oversee construction projects outdoors. The role requires a secondary school graduation certificate and at least one year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include supervising workers, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Ideal candidates will be organized, reliable, and effective team players. Work must be conducted on-site with no option for remote arrangements, adhering to strict security and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Supervise workers and projects.
- Recommend personnel actions.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities.
- Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers.
